Thursday 23rd April, day 29.
Today is the day we would have been stepping out (a little) into our old world….more people than I thought are actually looking forward to a Macdonald’s drive through!
While we have been told to stay in full lockdown for another five days, the movement restrictions are slightly relaxed, I will need to go to the showroom (and believe I am allowed) and start packing up, alone in the car, alone in the office….
We still have a few new cases popping up of the virus and when 500k people return to work next week we will probably see a few more, especially if schools open. This is at least one thing U.S. is doing – kids not back till after the summer break (in most states I think).
Yesterday was a summers day in the middle of late Autumn, and we took the opportunity to open up, air out, and catch up on washing…
Today will be catch up on work…in readiness to venture out tomorrow.
